I must begin by saying that Sonia is an absolute peach. She works at the Market which is a lovely convenience store and coffee shop within the resort. She greeted us as if we knew each other from childhood and made us feel so, so welcomed. The view was not what I had expected. From the advertising, I was under the assumption that we were going to have a view of the lake. We had a view of the golf course. It was cool to have the use of two separate pools. There was at adult pool and hot tub area located near the winery and there was another pool and hot tub for family use located toward the centre of the property. Unfortunately, the family hot tub was in need of some repair, none the less, it was still satisfactory.

The suite was beautiful and well cared for. The adult pool was great but it would have been a bit nicer if there was easy listening music piped in. The restaurant was really nice, but one of my friends meal was way to tough to eat. The compound is beautiful and it was great to have a shuttle. Although I must say I was disappointed in the shuttle driver that came to pick us back up, he was drinking a glass of wine while driving. I wasn’t even sure if he was with your staff or just someone who was trying to get tips. It wasn’t the fellow who drove us down there. We booked a wine tasting there and the gal who served us was exceptional. A lovely lady who was very knowledgeable and gave us a great time.

Beautiful suites with kitchen, living room, beautiful bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, and comfortable bedroom, bed, and pillows. Each suite is equipped with a balcony and a barbecue. The hot tub was lovely, and so was the outdoor sitting area with fire. There is also a heated outdoor pool that is open year round. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. Incredible food that was fresh, healthy, and super tasty. Service was amazing in the restaurant and at the front desk. I loved that the suite and the resort were pet friendly.

We had such a special stay in a beautifully appointed room where we were kindly gifted some wine from the adjoining vineyard for our honeymoon. We had a super dinner at the hotel & were really impressed to learn all the food is sourced from a 5k radius. A great night’s sleep followed by a relaxing morning at the pool, a delicious lunch at the vineyard & an insightful afternoon & desert walk at the indigenous cultural centre, our only regret was that we weren’t staying longer!

Kate

The two-bedroom penthouse was better than we had hoped. It was immaculate and had everything you could need. The condo was so spacious and had more than enough room for the 3 of us. The view from the deck was just incredible! We really enjoyed the pools, the steam room, the restaurant, the winery, and walks around the property. The desert museum is great as well. The staff make it memorable as they are so friendly, attentive and professional.
